This engine was acquired in September 2000 in running order but having a number of non-original features (fuel tank, exhaust and oil filler). I have not restored this engine as yet but believe it to be a good example of a standard Fowler 1PA with no special features. This engine will require new bearings and oil seals as the engine is quite noisy in operation and leaks copious amounts of oil when running. I will also fabircate a new exhaust system and replace the fuel tank with an original Fowler item or replica. This engine is of interest as it was the 50th 13xxx series engine built, the 13xxx series supposedly being the last production run of 1PA engines, however this is not true !!
