Basically the remains of a 1PDM engine. I acquired this engine as a chance comment made through the stationary engine newsgroup (uk.rec.engines.stationary). A fellow enthusiast kindly transported the engine to Scotland, if this offer had not been made I may not have been able to purchase this engine. On inspection the engine is in good condition with an excellent bore and no frost damage. Eventually I will restore this engine as it is in better condition and slightly earlier than the above PD, however I hope to repair the frosted block (see above) and possibly build two PD's. This engine is unusual in that it has a blank version of the crankcase inspection door (no breather). Unfortunately this is showing signs of warping due to the poor quality castings Fowlers are notorious for !
