Original magneto rotating armature which was totally siezed when found.

Further investigation showed the Mazak end rotor had expanded,
and cracked deforming enough to sieze the rotor in the magneto body,
a replacement was the only option.

A new end cap was turned from brass on the lather to the exact
size of the original. A precision job as the foue set screws had to
be exactly aligned to allow the rotor to spin freely ! The original spindle
was then removed from the old end cap, cleaned up and pressed onto the
new end cap, the result was a near perfect repair that will last for years.
