Test running after completion, running pretty hot due to small cooling tank.
Bulb board has an ammeter to measure current. Base frame has lifting handles
made from a broomstick bored down the centre. The exhaust silencer is a new
middle box from a Nissan Micra ! We originally had a new MOD type straight
through silencer but this proved far too noisy. I then found the local exhaust
fitter had some old stock Micra systems which had a middle box silencer of
the dimensions I needed. I bought a whole system for £5.00 and the silencer was
cut off and adapted to suit with brackets and a stainless steel reducer section
TIG welded onto the entry pipe. What a difference this made, much quieter !
