Working towards getting the engine mounted on a trolley, an inital mock up assembly of the engine was required to determine the outline trolley measurements and the layout of the finished trolley. It was decided from the outset that the cooling water tank would be remote from the trolley to allow a smaller trolley to be built and hence keep storage requirements to a minimum.
