Ordered on 31st December 1931, delivered new to William Dickie & Sons, East Kilbride on 11th August 1932. The engine was acquired in 1995 as a past restoration in need of a new exhaust and a re-paint. A new exhaust casting was acquired and the engine re-painted in the original colour. The photos show the restored engine, minus the magneto cover (which I have). This engine is quite an early example with brass petrol tank cap. Thanks to Ray Hooley I have obtained copies of the original test logs and order books showing the records for my engine. I also have the original starting handle which is all too often missing.
