This engine was originally installed in a boat on the local boating lake where it worked hard for many years providing fun for many tourists ! The engine is therefore very worn but still runs well having been thrashed for many years. I built this engine using spares from another engine recovered at the same time. I was lucky to obtain an original fuel tank as removed from one of the boats before they were cut up for firewood. Sad end to boats which provided years of service. The engine runs reasonably well but does tend to oil up very easily - it really needs a continual load to aid smooth running and proper two stroking.
