Special Application #1 - Wolseley Pumping Set

Wolseley WD2 direct coupled centrifugal pump set. This engine is rated at 3 HP 1000 RPM and is an impressive sight when running at full load. The pump is rated at xx Gallons per hour. These pump sets were used in applications where large volumes of water required to be pumped from one location to another. Many were used by local authorities and contractors and would generally suffer a tough life with little maintenance. Direct coupled pump sets are fairly rare and not often seen on the rallyfield.
